Sorry, rookie error on my previous post. Just had a moment with the format.

All Good Bitzar, I can't find Timor School Records, I have the Dunolly ones but only the youngest daughter went to school there. The Older siblings would have gone to Timor Primary School I believe, certainly Sydney Edward Prew is on the WW1 honour roll.
Whereabouts in the formative years appears to be either North Timor or Chinamans Flat from the information I received.
Shire of Tullaroop Rates
1892 & 1893 Timor North Sydney Prew miner, owner, house, valuation 3 pounds - Emily is 5-6 years old here.
1902 Syd Prew deceased, house & garden, Chinamans Flat, valuation 8 pounds
not sure how long they were at Chinaman's Flat for but guessing by this time she would have not been attending school - 15 years old then and likely already looking after a number of younger siblings as her mother passed in 1900.

My family were from Chinaman's Flat also. My connection is that my great grandfather's sister Queenie married Melinda's youngest brother Edward Merrifield.
I had previously attempted to so some research on 'Ah Sow' as you had discovered.

Have you seen this before? Think it was drawn circa 1905, Merrifield and Ah Sow location bottom left.
Yes, My grandmother and I picked that map up at the old store at Timor in about 1991 I think. Lots of names all connected to my family in close proximity around the Old Arch. Chapman is us, Tunks, Merrifield, Gribble, Davey, Lacey, Ah Sow.
