I had just added this as a new topic, any help would be welcome, I think the information you have given about my first enquiry has really helped, the other thing I want to know is this:
All the people mentioned on this have passed on, I am trying to find information about Margaret Jane Tallon. Born approx 1896 and passed on in 1934. Married to Thomas J Philpot in 1917and had a son called Reginald Philpot (my Dad) I was lead to believe she came over from Ireland and came from Cavan. She came over with two sisters one of theri names was Kathleen Tallon, she became Edwards, I think my Nan's name was mispelt Tallan. any help any suggestions, I also believe their father was called James.

How strange is this, I have just looked and found he was registered in the same months and year and with both first names by his mum Alicia cook in Greenwich, both under 5c 872, and one in Philpot and the other in Goddard
