Can anything be done to improve this extremely poor photgraph.
Thomas is the man inn the middle.
Thomas Theodore Redvers Rowles was born on Friday, 2nd March 1900 at No. 119 North Street, Bristol the son of Theodore (William) and Beatrice Rowles (née Ridge), a ‘Draper’.
In the 1911 census he is age 11 and living with his parents at 135 North Street, Bedminster, Bristol.
He enlisted in the Royal Engineers on 23rd March 1918.
His occupation was given as a ‘Turner & Fitter’.
His address was given as 137 North Street, Bedminster, Bristol.
He was accepted in the Royal Engineers as a ‘Wireless Mechanic’.
His papers show us that he was recommended to be posted to the ‘Royal Flying Corps’.
He was discharged from the Special Signal Company (Ireland) in March 1919.
He married Ivy Eveline Cottle in 1924 at Bristol. They had 2 daughters.
Ivy Eveline died in 1970 at Weston, Bristol, age 70.
In the ‘1939 Register’ his occupation is given as ‘Fitter Fireman, Maintenance’.
They are living at 14 Donald Road, Bristol.
He died 1975 at Bristol, age 75
