Yes, I looked on ancestry, FindMyPast and rootsIreland, under Reilly, O'Reilly and Rielly, but without success.

I have been trying in vain to find the death of my ancestor Thomas REILLY. He was baptized RC on 01 Jan 1822 in St Alban's RC Church in Doonane Parish, Co. Laois. He married Margaret Brennan on 30 Sep 1846. She was baptized on 01 Sep 1824 in Graiguecullen/Killeshin Parish, and died 24 Feb 1889, townland Drumagh, SRD Carlow, RD Ballickmoyler, Co. Queens. Thomas Reilly, the widower, is the informant on her death certificate.

I have been unable to find the death of Thomas Reilly. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Lanarkshire / Re: Looking for John Stewart, born circa 1868 Lanarkshire

Yes, I did check the 1869 John Stewart, but his parents were not Walter Stewart and Sophia Strain. These are the parents I am looking for. They are in the 1871 census, with son John, but I cannot find John's birth.

Lanarkshire / Looking for John Stewart, born circa 1868 Lanarkshire

I am trying, so far in vain, to find the birth (or baptism) of John Stewart, born (according to the 1871 census) around 1868, in Anderston, Lanarkshire. His parents were Walter Stewart and Sophia Strain. Help will be appreciated.

I have the marriage certificate of Edward Charles SEEGER and Jessie MANLEY, who married on 14 March 1875 in Bethnal Green. The address of the man is given as "3 31 Wellington House" and of the wife as "8 4 ditto". The couple had two children prior to this marriage: Edward, born 1869 Bethnal Green, and Jessie, born 1874 Bethnal Green. After their marriage, they got 5 more children.

I was wondering whether any of you know what Wellington House was. I do not see it in the listings of Poor Houses. Thank you for any suggestion what accommodation this pair lived in.

Down / Re: birth/baptism sought of Arthur Fagan, around 1852 C. Down

I looked through both, for th period 1847 to 1852, without success.

I saw no gaps in the Kilcoo baptism register. However, the regular and quite readable handwriting suggests to me that this is a later copy of the original register. No Arthur Fegan found, alas.

Yes, but I do not see his birth or baptism on rootsireland.ie
Are there other sites where I may have better luck?

The earliest mention of the family I have found is in the 1871 census of England. The address there is Worthington Street, Toxteth Park. In Liverpool, the children are baptized in St Patrick Church.
The child before Arthur and the one following him have been baptized in Liverpool, but I do not find Arthur there, and the 1871 census gives his place of birth as "Ireland".
