Thanks John...I will note the DOB discrepancy. I have applied to the Ipswich  crematorium and cemeteries website. Perhaps they have a record. Bryan

I feel so silly... it is Margery I was looking for.....I have all the records for births  marriage and deaths....the key things I am looking for are an obit and a grave for Margery Nellie Jones ( nee Lee) The obit may well be in  an Ipswich or Suffolk newspaper for March 2005. Thank you all for helping. Bryan

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Margaret Nellie Jones (nee Lee)

Hi Rootschatters.
I have Margaret Nellie Jones ( nee Lee), a widow, dying in March 2005 in Ipswich District, Suffolk. The England and Wales Civil Registration Index lists her as #C33B, District/subdistrict #747/1C, entry number #19. She was 93 years old and quite likely to have been in a nursing home. I am writing a short biography of her and her husband Thomas. I am looking  for her obituary to add some colour to the lives I have reconstructed for them from the registration and census records. I would be grateful if one could be found. I do not know if she was buried, but a grave site would also be welcome. Thanks as always, Bryan

Hi Rootschatters! As in the past, may of you have kindly solved some brickwalls for me. Now I am stuck again!
I am looking for the family of Lt. Colonel John Francis Vaughan (1808-1880) ( wife Eliza Rolls) in order to trace the brothers of both the Colonel and the male siblings of Reverend Jerome Joseph Vaughan ) 1841-1896. As a young man, Jerome aged 18 ( circa 1859) may have had a son out of wedlock, possibly born in a nunnery, or similar institution for unwed pregnant mothers........it could get quite complex !!!

Thank you all for any hints you can discover.

 Best wishes from Canada, LJ

Herefordshire / Re: Margaret Vaughan of Courtfield; Which source to trust?

Hi Cusdae, I am researching the Vaughan's of Courtfield family tree much later than your posted tree, in the period 1850 to 1925 in order to solve a brickwall on the lineage of my great great grandfather. Do you have such data that we can share? In particular, I am looking at the descendents of Lt. Colonel John Francis Vaughan. Thanks very much, LJ
