Glamorganshire / William G Thomas

Hello

William was born near Llanboidy,Carms 1880 & sometime after 1901 moved to The Valleys.
He married an Esther Bowen & was living in Treorchy in 1963 when he died.

William was my Greatgrandfathers half Brother,GGFather the eldest.

I have a photo I would love to share if anyone has William in their tree.

Could do with some help please

From the SMI

Elizabeth Cavey married a William Cavey in Beckley 4 May 1807.

They had 4 children.Sadly Elizabeth died & was Buried 18 Nov 1813 at Playden,aged 22

What I need help with is finding who Elizabeth`s Mum & Dad were.Cant find her on SFHG.Maybe I need to look in Kent

Technical Help / From Windows XP to Windows 7

Could do with some help please,in plain English

I have WDYTA Family Tree programme on XP & swopped with Husbands Windows 7.
I have WDYTA FT programme on Windows 7 but don't want to have write everything again
I have Back Up Discs which don't seems to work on Windows 7.
Does anyone know if I can transfer it.

Grateful for any help

Hello Everyone

Regarding Infanveiw.

I could reduce photos very small & print off ok with Lexmark Printer but since i`ve had a Kodak Printer all i get is a message, wrong size paper.

I`m tearing my hair out

.Can anyone help please.I`m not Technically Minded

Hello

Hoping someone can help with a Burial place

Thomas died 1852 & Jane 1862.They lived Rock Terrace,St Issells.

Jane`s Dad was a Vicar,so i think it would be a Church Yard more than a Baptist Graveyard,but then,i could be wrong.

Any help gratefully received.

Hello

On Husband`s FT i came across this marriage on SMI

Married at Pevensey/Westham

4th July 1693

Thomas Jeffry/Jefferay & Ann Lookem/Lookam.

There is only 1 Lookem/Lookam Marriage on the SMI & no Baptisums found on SFHG database.

I have tried IGI,googling etc & got nowhere.

Would love to know how the Lookem/Lookam surname came about.

Any help greatfully recieved.

England / Prudence Elizabeth Kate Hubbard

Hello

Prudence Eliabeth Kate Hubbard married Thomas Campbell at The Parish Church Herstmonceux,Sussex,22 Mar 1847.She gives her age 19.

She gives her Father as Richard Hubbarb,Chair Maker.

I found a Baptisum for a daughter Baptised at the same Church.
Ann Campbell Hubbard,29 Mar 1847.

Mother Prudence Elizabeth Kate Hubbard,Traveller.

I found the family on the 1861 living Three Elms Cottage,Great Northlands ,Bodiam.
RG09 571 93 8

It looks like Prudence was born Cholsey ?

I cant find her on 1841 or the family on 1851.

Prudence died in 1869.

Would really like some help as to where she came from.
