I am trying to find the parents of Herbert Beck born in England in 1887. He married Alice Johanna Elizabeth Bentley in South Africa in 1899. He died in South Africa in 1947.

There are a few Herbert Becks born in 1877 in the UK but i have no idea where exactly it was.

Staffordshire / Jack Skelton

Looking for family of Jack Skelton who emigrated to South Africa. He married Mary Knight in the Uk in 1936. Jack would have been born in about 1910. The 1911 census shows he had a brother Frank, Arthur, Harry and a sister Jessie.

We have no idea what happened to any of his family. I am married to the granddaughter of Jack Skelton. Jack and Mary Skelton only had one child, Joy Francis (born in the UK in 1937) who married Brian Beck in South Africa.
