Death Cert states.....Place of Birth.....Ireland (51 yrs in Australia)

Patrick Conran
Baptism:  3 Feb 1782
Place:  Athy, Laois and  Kildare, Ireland
Father: Danl Conran.     Mother:  Mary Conran

Yes that is him Michael Coman/Conran.
His Ticket of Leave, Convict Muster Roll, Certificate of Leave, etc all have YOB as 1811/1812
Michael Conran was born in 1811/1812, Married in 1848 and Died in 1882 at the age of 72yrs.
He married a Convict's daughter in NSW, Australia, had 11 children whom all live in Australia and has several thousand decendents. There are probably more than 50 people who are researching his Family. But none has a Birth or Baptism document.
If he was the other Michael Condran born in 1786 the age does not match his Death age of 72yrs old in 1882.   Thank you Robyn

Thank you for your replies. Michael Conran was tried in County Westmeath on 12 July 1832 and deported to Australia on the "Royal Admiral"(2) we have documents to verify that. Born abt 1811 in Athlone, County Westmeath. His parents on his Australian Death Certificate are Patrick Condran and Julia O'Connell. I found Birth Registration of a Patrick Conran in Ancestry, he was born 3 Feb 1782 in Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland and died 1859 in Athalone, Ireland.  I found a Julia O'Connell born in 1792 in Ireland and died in 1877 in Tipperary, Ireland. I do not know if the Patrick Conran and Julia   O'Connell are our family members.
Thank you. Robyn Condran

Hi there, My great-grandfather Condran, came to Australia as a Convict. His name was Michael Conran, on his Convict papers.  His father was Patrick Conran. So I'm not sure of their original surname. Would it be Condran or Conran?
