Hi all.

Many thanks for your replies.

Georgina and Sarah were, I believe, cousins.

When Georgina married Silas she already had a son (out of wedlock me thinks) who was being cared for by the grandparents.

Can anyone throw any light on as to where she was in the 1861 census.?

Very many thanks.

Can anybody help with the 1841 census for Walsall?
Trying to find the parents of Henry SPINK. b.1835(+/- 1) Walsall, Staffs.
I have him on the 1851 census but he was not at home. He was at an address in Dudley Street, so parents not shown.

Many thanks.

Hi Pauline

Thank you for the information. I do have this family and I think it could be the one.  The problem is that I can't find out if Williams father was called Henry.  For some reason he is not around, and it does'nt say if Caroline was a widow.

I have got 2 certificates already, for a William Spink,  both mothers are called Caroline, but the fathers are not Henry.

I will keep looking, or keep buying the Certificates.

Many thanks

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / Re: Where's my Willy?
« on: Sunday 06 March 05 14:04 GMT (UK)  »
Hello everyone

Update on the previous request.  My William on his marriage certificate states that he is 30 years old, meaning he was born in 1858.  On the 1901 census he gives his age as 39 meaning he was born in 1862. He states all along that he was born in Walsall.  I have got the certificate of the one in 1862 but it is the wrong one.

I am now completely stuck.  Please help
