Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Re: Who was present at death?

Corven  :-\  As he died of Typhus fever, I would hazard a guess that the place of death was a hospital, and she was, perhaps, a nurse.  :-\

Nevertheless it was a very interesting guess, I would never had thought of that

He died at 21 Flag Lane Sunderland

So if she was the informant, she would not be a nurse? Or did nurses go to their houses?

Sarah what? Can't quite make it out. Also, who could she be? I've never heard of her so why would she be present. Thanks

Well the bride was born 1910, I would say she looks young, maybe 18?

That would pin it around 1928

The older man is indeed the brides father, and my great great grandfather

Is there a way for me to identify the other of the bride? Or is it just pure guesswork?

Durham / Where can I buy very old Parish Baptisms?
« on: Wednesday 17 January 18 21:20 GMT (UK)  »
I need to see the physical copies of two baptisms. One in 1799 and the other in 1815.

All in the Sunderland area

Where can I purchase them?
