Hi yes i do still have the list
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
You appear to be resurrecting a 2yr old post but in doing so - you are causing a lot of duplicated efforts
I see you already had the info re: the marriage above etc - have you bought a copy of that marriage cert to establish Eliza's fathers name?
Have you followed up on any of the census info posted by Pel's?
Marriages Jun 1878
Hodgson Amos Bedale 9d 851
Peacock Eliza Bedale 9d 851
If Eliza's birth surname was Peacock - then George was illegitimate
Hi,
Lanchester Bishop's Transcripts are on Familysearch. I've had a quick look and there are a few Callenders around.
In 1789 there are two baptisms on page 179
Jessey dau. of John and Jennet Callender of Gateshead
Maria dau. of Mr. Callender, surgeon, of Dipton
both baptised on 25th December
On 28th Oct 1793 page 210
Ann dau. of Robt Callender, surgeon, of Dipton
There may well be others if you fancy a trawl through the BTs
Cheers
Gina
Hi,
There is a John Callender listed in Jan 1859 in The Medical Register (on Ancestry). He is of Greenside, Durham and is listed as being in practice before Aug 1 1815.
You may have this info already if this is your ancestor?
