Could someone please tell me? A birth registered in Queensland in 1979 an illegitimate child. Would the mother have been able to enter the birth fathers name even though he was not present at the time? Thankyou

If you put the dates in with no names, it does bring up some stones and their locations. But no Collin.

Stodman Street.

Burial St Mary Mag. Newark
21 May 1843 Thomas Collin aged 61 abode Newark.

Also 24 Feb 1832 James Collin aged 26.

Marriage Newark
24 Aug 1821 Thomas Collin & Amaris Shaw.
Baptism
23 Oct 1824 Joseph son of Thomas & Amy COLLINS abode Newark father a hatmaker.

The gravestones for the Parish church are no longer in situ. They are laid flat around the church, as paving, or against the boundary in the area where the burial ground was, now a park.
Chain lane was never wide enough for motor traffic. There is a photo of a mini car (the original not the ginormous mini's of today) stuck in the market side exit.

The municipal cemetery was opened in 1856. It is on London Road.

I see that Find My Past have the Leicestershire Marriage Licences. I have found my 4x great grandfathers marriage in 1807. Could anyone please tell me what likely info I may find before I go and renew membership. Thank you.

Not sure this is going to help you at all....My friend has a 2,002 match with her niece and a 1,971 with her half brother. So the niece "scores" higher than her half brother from another mother.
