Have you tried looking on familysearch as we are not supposed to ask for 1911 look ups  :-\

Ah apologies! Didn't realise!

Norfolk Lookup Requests / Barrett - 1911

Could someone please Search for Violet May Barrett in the 1911 Census please.
She would of been based in King's Lynn and would of been around 5/6 years old at the time of the 1911 Census.

Information of her family would be a great help in determining how me and a DNA match are related!

Cambridgeshire Lookup Requests / Thorney Huguenots
« on: Tuesday 22 May 18 17:55 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone could look up some names on the Huguenot parish records for me please.

I have Jaques Flahau, and his wife Anne Lisy who were married some time before 1668 in/around The Thorney area. They had a son, also Jaques Flahau, among others.

Wondering if someone could find marriage/baptisms for Jaques Snr & Anne.

Many thanks

Paul.

Hertfordshire / Baptism Search - Thomas Rich
« on: Monday 05 March 18 10:43 GMT (UK)  »
Hello everyone.

I'm looking for some help to find the baptism of Thomas Rich.

I've found his marriage to Rose Chapman in 1704, in Essendon, but having trouble finding his Baptism.

I did find some record of him being the son of a Leonard Rich, but this would put him at 8 years old at the time of his marriage to Rose!

Therefore I think it's more likely he's a sibling or cousin of Leonard, than a son.

Any help appreciated

Norfolk / Re: Barrett/Youngs West Rudham

Hello, thankyou for the help and apologies for the slow reply.

It's been a few years since I done any genealogy and things have changed a little so I think I'm a bit rusty.

I'll take a look at the information you've given me and see if I can work something out.

Many thanks.

Norfolk / Barrett/Youngs West Rudham
« on: Sunday 21 May 17 15:23 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone.

I've come to a bit of a brick wall and not sure I know how to resolve it so thought I'd ask for some help!

My direct ancestors married in West Rudham in 1796. However I can't seem to find them before this.

There are William Barretts and Mary Youngs in nearby Tittleshall. 3 William Barretts to William and Mary Barrett (I presume the previous two died, but can't find buriel records) and a Mary Youngs.

However this would put William at 14 at time of Marriage and Mary at 34. I thought this unlikely to be either of them.

I did however find possible the Parents of William Barrett, William and Mary, nee Forby.  And the witness was a Alies  (Alice?) Youngs.

Not really sure where to go with this without taking wild guesses!

Any help appreciated.

OK, the male twins on here don't belong to my grandfather.... So I presume if the rumor is true, that they didnt have my grandfathers surname,

Ok so i looked using my GF's surname, within the years 1947-1957, in Lincolnshire.

Only 3 sets of twins were born with that surname in that 10-year period. 1 set of boys, 2 of girls. All in areas which wouldn't make sense.  ???

Not sure where to go with this...
