That sounds fabulous Caroline, Turkey is such a beautiful country and viewing it from above must have been amazing. And followed by a week's relaxation in the sun, what more could a girl ask for?  :)

I expect you'll be home by the time you read this, hope the weather is kind to you for your return.

It's a wet one here, we never seem to get more than a few days without rain. Can't complain too much, the weekend was fine and I was able able to do some gardening. Cut the lawns while it was dry.

A robin has been visiting my garden regularly, makes me smile when I see him hopping about. I think he must be nesting somewhere nearby.

Thanks for the clarification ladies, I suppose that figures. Although I bet the price doesn't go down if there's a good harvest.

This is the first year we've had to pay to have our garden waste bins emptied, £40 a year. There's been a lot of opposition, people threatening to dump it on waste ground or to put it in with the general waste. There is of course the option to take it to the tip but not everyone can do that. My quibble was the fact that they only started in April, whereas previously it was March. My bin had been crammed full for months and I was having to stack the extra in the garden. As soon as it was emptied last week I half filled it again!

Why is olive oil so expensive? Even the own brand is a ridiculous price. At this rate I'll be looking for some in the duty free on my way home from hols.

What dreadful news from Sydney:

BBC News - 'It was carnage' - Eyewitnesses describe Sydney stabbing horror
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-68805401

What on earth is happening in the world, these sort of attacks seem to be becoming much more prevalent.

It actually just comes down to one thing  - the game is not fit for purpose so you're entitled to a refund. I'm sure Trading standards will use that as a stick to beat them with!
I did find your account of what happened in the shop entertaining!  ;D

Good to hear from you Mowsehowse.

Well here we are at the end of the week and your posts have only just appeared in my notifications. ???
I always look in “ Unread posts”.
There has been nothing until just now.

Don't you click on 'New Replies ' Viktoria? I find that the easiest way. Any threads you've contributed to will show on the list if there are new posts. Of course you won't find the new diary threads at the beginning of the week until you've posted on it. I find the easiest thing is to look at the Stay Safe board on Mondays to see if anyone has posted a new thread.
