Hello

After a few frantic replies to all...I am taking stock now.

I am leaving Leighton Buzzard and travelling to Brierley Hill in the morning.

Would all my educated friends who have assisted me suggest a visit to Dudley Record Office? I have a week to get some research done in the area, with a few non history trips planned though you have a fantastic area.

Or to St Thomas Church?  I am frantically looking at all that has been suggested and trying to work out an action plan....don't multi task I am sure my female friends who have assisted me regarding this to date are far much better ha ha.

Listen to any advice please.

Thanks again for all your help.

Regards

Andy

Joseph Hudson, 4, Son, born Dudley

Quote
early ones didn't include fathers and just gave the age as 'Full'

Marriage was 1854.  Whilst age may be shown as "full" fathers names were included on marriage certs from 1.7.1837

I have the marriage certificate and John is listed as 21 and Mary Ann 20 on what looks like 27th November 1854 which was a Monday
