When I clicked on Jane's name it says other members in household and every one was down as Elizabeth Ward.
Methinks someone got fed up transcribing.

No, that's not a transcriber error - it's a weird glitch with Ancestry these last few days.  See this thread:

My Nan's home made Christmas Puddings were the best though and beware of the 'silver thrupnee ' bit.
Wonderful additions to it such as stout, rum and as much sherry as the maker sees fit!

My aunt still makes the most wonderful Christmas pudding to an old family recipe - and stirs in the inherited silver charms (about 12 of them - bachelor's button, wedding ring, moneybags, good luck horseshoe etc). We all predict what's going to happen in the coming year by what charm we get in our pudding. Anybody who doesn't get a charm in their first helping gets a second helping!

Anna - Interestingly on the 1891 census where you found Agnes Emma, now going under the name of Emma (and who could blame her) also living with her and her husband as another lodger is Walter Clarke aged 15 an office boy.  Presumably this is the Walter who was on the 1881 census with her, her mother and Walter Clarke senior.

I agree, he must be.

But I can't take the credit for finding them in 1891; that was CatOne ;)

Sussex Lookup Requests / Newland/Sparks marriage: West Thorney
« on: Thursday 28 February 08 17:28 GMT (UK)  »
I'd be most grateful for a lookup of a marriage between William Newland (or Newlyn) and Hannah Sparks which I believe took place at West Thorney on or about 15 Apr 1804 - per IGI.

I know the record may not tell me much more, but just in case :)

Interestingly there is a marriage in Middlesborough Jun quarter 1880 for a Walter Clarke and an Annie Elizabeth McDonald!!

Well, there are no Walter Clarkes and only two Walter Clarks in Middlesbrough in 1881 - "Anni's" Walter and the son Walter...
