When I clicked on Jane's name it says other members in household and every one was down as Elizabeth Ward.
Methinks someone got fed up transcribing.
My Nan's home made Christmas Puddings were the best though and beware of the 'silver thrupnee ' bit.
Wonderful additions to it such as stout, rum and as much sherry as the maker sees fit!
Anna - Interestingly on the 1891 census where you found Agnes Emma, now going under the name of Emma (and who could blame her) also living with her and her husband as another lodger is Walter Clarke aged 15 an office boy. Presumably this is the Walter who was on the 1881 census with her, her mother and Walter Clarke senior.
Interestingly there is a marriage in Middlesborough Jun quarter 1880 for a Walter Clarke and an Annie Elizabeth McDonald!!
