As far as I know it’s was called the Queen’s Head at 113 Thanet Street it is now a Oriental restaurant, the landlady Emma Taylor with husband William

World War One / Photo’s of WW1 soldiers

My Grandad George Edwards Shelton born 1884 served with Northumberland Fusiliers 1st Bn died 24th July 1916 aged 32. (17877)
Also his brother John Robert Shelton served with 1/7th Bn Sherwood
Foresters died 1st July 1916 aged 21, (265309)
Looking for photo’s of them they were from Nottinghamshire area

Queens Head pub Thanet Street Clay Cross Derbyshire in the 1950’s landlady Emma Taylor with husband William Taylor.
Any info about the pub.
Or if Emma Taylor had an Obituary in the local paper she died 9th May 1965
