my fathers was named Henry Hamilton Gamble and had sisters Hilda and Cynthia. My Grandmother was Gertrude Fanny Roskruge.

Hi thanks for the reply. That's the part we are not sure about. Charles disappeared shortly after their arrival, and their documents were lost. I was hoping that someone had lost track of them or knew anything

Hi my name is Fredrick William GAMBLE named after granddad Frederick, he had a brother named Charles GAMBLE they came to South Africa in the 1800's do you know anything about these people. Regards (*)

My name is Fredrick William GAMBLE from South Africa, my grandfathers name was Frederick William GAMBLE his brother was Charles GAMBLE they came to South Africa in the 1800's record keeping in the Transkei was not a priority at the time so do you know of any GAMBLES that came to South Africa in that era. hi there is mention of a john gamble in south africa around that time. my name is fredrick william gamble, named after frederick william gamble brother to charles gamble They also arrived in SA around that time I cannot find info on them
