Australia / Brisbane records certificate

Hi I ordered a death certificate from Queensland records office in Brisbane. They said they dispatched it on 7th March. I have sent them several emails and they said looking at customer feedback it could take up to 6 weeks. Obviously it has been sent by airmail but 6 weeks to the UK is a bit much. They have taken my money too. Has anyone else experienced this.

Australia / Marriage look up for Mount

Hi is there anyone who could do a look up for me for a marriage of Ronald Walter Mount. He died in Queensland in 1986 and I wondered if he ever remarried. He came from England around 1960 as a married man but was divorced around 1968/69. Not sure what state he would have been living in but it was Melbourne he lived when he emigrated from England.

Derbyshire / Widdowsons of Killamarsh

Looking for any info on the Widdowsons of Killamarsh area. My great grandfather was Luke Widdowson born Killamarsh 26 December 1803, he married Eliza Harston of Barnsley in 1836. They had 13 children.

My great grandma Eliza Harston was born 11 january 1817 in Barnsley, her parents were William and Betty Harston. Eliza married Luke Widdowson 14 April 1836 In Royston Parish Church.
Any info very welcome. They had 13 children and Luke was known to have fathered one illegitamate child named John.

Looking for info on a miners hostel in Adwick road, Mexborough which was around in the late 1940's /50,s. It housed a lot of men so must have been a big building. Is it still standing. My grandfather and his brother lived there in 1951. They were miners so wondered what pit they would have worked in. They came over from Ireland around this time.

We have a marriage cert from 1951 with an address od 203 Abbeyfield road, Pitsmoor Sheffield. I have looked on the street view and there doesnt appear to be a 203. I have looked on the 1939 census to see who lived there then, but again no number 203. Does anyone know if this house ever existed.

Any info of Marriage of John Patrick Flannery formerly from Tipperary Ireland born c1916. Died in Scunthorpe 1952. Believed to be a bigamist. Had a brother called Frank.

Hi looking for any info on John Patrick Flannery born around 1916 ish in Tipperary, he has a brother called Frank. They both came over to England but not sure when. John died in Scunthorpe England in 1952. He was a bigamist and not sure if he was married to one in Ireland and England too.
