Thank you, James is not on free BMD or GRO only Lancashire BMD and I contacted them to be sure the record existed, but it would mean paying £11 for a certificate and still not sure it is him

Lancashire / Shaw Burials

Hello
Does anyone have access to burials at Holy Trinity Shaw near Oldham.?
I went to Oldham Archives and found William Greaves age 72 in Dec 1872 which seems not to be on Ancestry.
I am looking for two more but can't get over before they close on Nov 30
Betty Greaves in 1888 age 73
and    James Collinge 1870 age 64
Thank you
Glyn

Sarah didn't die, because she wasn't at home in 1851 I assumed she had died. She married John Hilton in 1861 was widowed and married again in 1862 a 22 year old in keeper daughter of William Greaves butcher
Got there in the end

It's not her, she was the daughter of Joseph & Jane, but there's no birth for John either so looks like just baptisms and burials

That must be them Thank you! I knew a Rootschatter would crack it
He went to be a dock labourer but when John was baptised from Woodstock Street in 1843 it says butcher, tho later he was just labourer and  when he died mechanic. I don't know about the Greaves side as it is Betty in our family tree. So Sarah died in Liverpool .

Hi William was from Shaw but these are too old, the marriage says his father was John an inn keeper, maybe at Maygate Lane which is Chadderton. William did marry Betty in 1838 and in later life she becomes Elizabeth just to confuse things Thank you

Hello, can anyone spot this couple in 1841 as I draw a blank?
William Greaves b 1809 and Betty b 1815 in Oldham, he was a butcher.
In Feb 1839 they were at Maygate Lane when they baptised Sarah. in Oct 1843 at Woodstock Street Liverpool when they baptised John.
Sarah died but don't know where or when, they were in Liverpool in 1851, back in Oldham 1861. I couldn't find the in 1871 either but knew their address and someone on the street so tracked it back and they were listed as Green but it is Greaves. Thank you
