Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Re: property record for Cardiff residents
« on: Sunday 05 December 21 14:42 GMT (UK)  »
Welcome to Rootschat!

Would that be Llandough juxta Penarth or Llandough juxta Cowbridge? The surviving baptism registers of LjP start from 1784, BTs go back to 1724. These records are at the archives in Cardiff.

The records from Llandough juxta Cowbridge survive from 1583 but the early ones do not seem to be included in the scanned registers on FindmyPast.

You can request copies of records from the archives

Burial in Rhosllanerchrugog 5 July 1888 Susannah Jones Street Issa - death reg gives age as 10. The burial is noted with 'certified by Thomas Jones' suggesting that the family was non-conformist.

Possible birth reg Stanley Jones june qtr 1908 Wrexham vol 11b pg 256 mmn Jones

David Jones june qtr 1904 Wrexham vol 11b pg 511 with Elizabeth Jones on the same page.
