Worcestershire / Surname Major OR Rivers-Major OR Rivers

Sorry it is a bit convoluted but it seems there was a family row and some became Major and some became Rivers.

Seeking any information on these names in Worcestershire, possibly connected to Kempsey Hall.

All leads welcome.

Worcestershire / Byard to Beard where and when

Has anyone come across a name change in the Beard family tree. I have been told that my lot were once called Byard but I cant seem to find a link. Lots of Byards, lots of Beards but no transition e.g. same address different spelling of surname.

My family are located in Worcestershire - Guarlford, Malvern, Powick.

If its not too badly damaged I will repair your picture for £5. + post and packing. (Please note we are not usually able to repair faces, if too badly damaged.)

Please can anyone help to link the BEARD families that lived in Powick with the BEARD families in Guarlford or Madresfield.

I know my Dad (Samuel Beard) stayed with an Aunt in Powick circa 1905. The question is who.
