I am seeking relatives of Elsie Elizabeth Bartlett later Horne who kept a shop in Canonbury Lane in the early 1900's.

The son Dennis was a pianist who played at Old Frascatis, Gerald was his younger brother. Dennis went to Canada.

We have a mystery involving a Plantation in Trinidad. This has been known to the family since 1939. We have no answers, yet.

Two years ago I was contacted by a lady in Uganda with the same mystery, but we could find very little common ground. As she was working in Uganda under contract she could only hope one day to go to Trinidad.

That day has come! We have found a William Watkins who died about the right date and she is all set to visit Trinidad. Once more it's wait and see.......

The moral, genealogists must never give up.

I am now trying manual updates with little success.

We are seeking links between Watkins in the U.K. and Plantations in Trinidad.

In 1939 a mystery letter arrived asking my older brother to manage a plantation.

Some names connected, Scrivens, Watkins and de Freitas. Also connections to Guarlford, nr Mavern, Worcestershire, U.K.

Any help appreciated, now about to give up on this.

I found several thousand RSS feeds, on my hard drive, some from MSN. I followed a web page and deleted them all and the folders. Will they come back? How can they be stopped?
