London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Any Bury, Farmer, Weal, Skellet interest?
« on: Saturday 30 September 06 13:24 BST (UK)  »
Returning to  research another little known side of my family.  The connection is a Mary Ann Farmer( b 1860 Stepney London) who married a John Bury( b 1860 London, Middlesex) in 1883.

Mary Ann's parents were William Farmer and Mary Ann Weal/ Wheel. I am not sure about Johns. Some leads about  a Robert and Elizabeth, but this is not verified.

Does anybody know of these interest?

Interested in finding out about any resources, history, details, past records of No 3 Exeter Hospital.

Grandfather was patient there while injured during WW1.  Though he returned to Aus after war he did not return to family and no record of him.  Family folklore of perhaps return to England.

Interested in any advice?

sorry, wrongly assumed you were in England.  Not sure why.

Have been reading over your info, yes it is interesting that Selina was not with parents in 1851.  Also Alfred Robert aged 3 months in 1851, not mentioned 10 years later in 1861. More of those never ending mysterious to be followed up at a later date!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your responses.  Will print out and file to records for follow up verification.

Greatly appreciated.

As a matter of interest is Wolverhampton far from Birmingham.  Have checked maps here in Oz, but had to tell.  Hope to travel OS next year and do some "hands on " digging.

I have an Ann Beard married to a Richard Cooper in 1813 in Birmingham.  Ann was from Wolverhampton.  From over here in OZ I am not sure if this is close to your area?

I have no other info about the Beard family, but quite a bit about the Coopers
