Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has these two in there tree, I'm trying to work out who Harriets  parents may be.
They had children together from 1855 until a bout 1870.around the Gloucester area. I think Harriets dad maybe William Davis .  Henry was son of abel Ryal.

You have bracketed his first name Walter - was he generally known as John.

Were his parents Walter & Anna.
Yes parents were Walter and Anna   down as just john on 1911 census. Not mentioned in his dads obituary in 1937

Have you his exact date of birth, to look for him in 1939?

Also, which paper did you find him in?

Added:
I can see the newspaper article referring to Mrs Lane and a son and another son in Dundee.  Is this definitely him - were there any other sons?

There were just two sons. Yes that's the report. I dont have his exact dob just AMJ quarter of 1893.

Hi . In a newspaper report in jan 1918  mrs lane stated her son was broken from the war and sent to a military hospital in dundee.  Walter john lane was born in wellington Somerset in 1893. He was her oldest son..  I cant find any trace of him after this mention. Does anyone have  info on this thank you

I have tryed to search for them in the 1939 reg but with little success.  They came from a big family that all reused the same names so difficult to work out which are the correct ones and who were cousins. Was hoping a fresh set of eyes would see something I hadn't or even know of the family.
