Thanks Nick, my 3xgreat grandfather James Clay and his family moved to Farnley and stayed long enough for their daughter Mary to marry one of the locals (in 1818). Your family and mine are connected through Mary.

I am looking for a marriage between George Henry Berry (ca 29yo) and Ada Smithson in the last quarter of 1912. George's father was Arthur Berry (Mechanic's Turner) Don't have any info re Ada. The marriage took place at the Methodist Chapel Waterloo Road, Hunslet and Methodist School, Clothier Street, Hunslet.

I know that John Albert was dead at the time of Sarah Ann May's marriage (3/6/1911). I suspect that this death reg is his - March 1909 Age 56 Leeds 9b 308.

I'm looking for the rest of the family in the 1911 census.
Mary Louisa died 1923 (poss. June 1923 Age 63 Leeds 9b 520)
George Frederick married in 1913.
William Barker was married in 1909 (I don't expect to find him with the rest of the family)
Caroline Louisa (m. 26/8/1911)
Sarah Ann May (m. 3/6/1911)
Georgina Eleanor m. 1923
Clarissa Alice (m. 3/4/1915)
Jackaline Austin m. 1927 At some point began spelling name Jacquelin(e)

Heywood, I don't have her death cert. Because she was in Wakefield at the '71 census and I couldn't find her afterwards, I looked for possible marriages and then deaths. The Dec. 1871 death in Wakefield seemed the most likely scenario. She had no children, so I assumed that she died in service. A dead end, pardon the pun,
