Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: Elland records

Thomas Hepworth and Janet Sunderland married in Elland 8 Sep 1577 - are there any records before this date - bapt, marr or burr ???

Hi Woopom
Did you ever manage to get a result for this marriage. I am trying to trace 12 x great grandparents Thomas and Janet and although I can see a transcript of marriage  I am trying to find father of Janet.
Several trees have Richard Sunderland but I’m not sure he is her father.

Have you looked at the first page - the description of the Enumeration District?

Thank you yes the only thing I can see is Pickering Houses which doesn’t look like that is it

Durham / Census 1861 address?
« on: Thursday 30 June 22 17:03 BST (UK)  »
Looking for the address of my great grandfather in 1861. Census address is unreadable due to a water mark on the original document. The address was in Birtley sub district Harraton. It was something Houses, first word looks to begin with a P. I looked pages before and after right up to next address which proved pointless. The next address was Heslop Houses so presume in the nearby vicinity of the address I need. Does anyone have any idea what the address maybe please, image attached.
Many thanks

Thank you. I don’t live in the area so not sure of the geography but that’s a great start.
