Northumberland Lookup Requests / William Swan

I am trying to find a William Swan born 1829 Newcastle Upon Tyne, he was married to Jane (surname not known at present). I have found the family on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census but unable to find William, Jane and children on the 1861 census or previously.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi
Would anyone be kind to look a marriage for me. It was a marriage between a James Thompson and Harriet Liddle, it took place in Stokesley in 1862. I have tried to find information of James Thompson and family and also Harriet Liddle and family but have nothing earlier than their wedding.
The couple had three children born between 1860 (yes before they were married!) and 1867 the same year James died. Harriet moved from Stokesly then and moved to Sunderland to begin a new life with her lodger!
I would be grateful of any information you can give me.

Can anyone tell me what night the census was taken in 1901. I am trying to trace an Ellen Thompson, according to a family bible entry she was born on
April 14th 1901. I am unable to find her on the census. Would it have been taken earlier by chance?

I have kindly been given help tracing a marriage of my ggg grandparents. I have been told they were married in Ireland in Londonderry, a place called Ballynacheen? I believe. I have the date of their marriage 11.6.1845 however I am not too sure what to do next. What information does the Irish marriage certs give? How can I find out whether they were catholic or not?

I am looking for help in researching my great great grandmother and her father. She is shown on the 1861 census as living in Greenock with her father a tailor. Her father Patrick Devlin was born in Ireland, do not know where. He is shown as widowed on the census. His daughter Mary Ann Devlin was 4 yrs old but shown born in Durham, England. I have searched Durham records online to find a birth for her but to no avail. I have no other details on the father either other than born in Ireland. He does not appear on the 1851 census in Durham. I dont know how/where to find details of her birth or anything about him. Can anyone help. Posted on Greenock section also

I desperately need some help, if any kind sole out there may be able to help I would be very grateful ???
My grandfather was born in Beamish in Dec 1891. He married my grandmother in July 1913. His son was born Oct 1913. As I was growing up my grandfather was not around. I was told that he had died soon after my father had been born. I have searched death indexes from 1913 to 1920 looking for his death but can find nothing anywhere. My feelings now are that I have been told a little white lie to stop me asking further questions. Did he do a runner. After all he married my grandmother late in her pregnancy. If my feelings are correct has anyone got any ideas how I could continue to trace him?

Thank you to all who helped. Special thank you to DS. His death certificate showed the incorrect spelling of his surname. He did die in 1916, death cert should John Robert Foster.

Durham / Penshaw Stables, Penshaw

Does anyone know anything of the history of Penshaw Stables? My grandfather was born there in 1891. His fathers occupation was shown as a coalminer on his birth certificate but I have been told by a cousin that he also looked after Shire horses there, apparently belonged to Vaux Breweries?
Anything of interest I would be grateful for.
