Tipperary / Ryan/Lawless from Kilshane

. WM.1 RYAN was born 1815 in IRL. He married ELLEN LAWLESS Abt. 1835 in TIP,IRL, daughter of WM. LAWLESS and ELLEN. She was born 1816 in Kilshane, TIP,IRL.

William RYAN (born ca.1815) and Ellen LAWLESS (born ca.1816).

They married in Co.Tipperary and had children Jane b.1836, Ellen b.1838,

Ann b.1841, Thomas b.1845, Mary b.1843 and John b.1848 in a town called

Kilshane which I understand is south-east of Tipperary town. The whole

family emigrated to Australia on board the "John Fielden" in 1853, settling

in the Darling Downs area in Queensland Australia

Margaret McGillicuddy was from the townland of Maulykeavane. That
townland
> is in Kilcummin parish.

T :-\he marriage of Daniel McGillicuddy and Ellen Brosnahan.
It appears in Casey Vol. 5 Page 238
marriage took place Killarney RC parish 21 Feb 1816
the address is given as East Kilbrean
There are three townlands in Kerry named Kilbrean.
Because the marriage took place in Killarney parish in 1816 I am
guessing
here,
but feel it was Kilbrean in Killarney parish that they lived in 1816.
They is also Kilbrean in Aghadoe and Kilcummin parishes.

Witness to the marriage found in Casey were
Daniel Hease and Thomas F...igan (I cannot read it properly but it
would
appear the
name is Thomas Finnegan.
Looked up Finnegan in Griffiths Valuation Index and , it does show a
Thomas Finnegan Kilbrean Beg Kilcummin.

The baptism of Maurice Moynihan took place December 10th 1838
Killarney R.C. Parish
It is also found in Vol. 7 Page 498 of
Casey Collection.
Killarney given as residence at time of baptism. No godparents names
appear
in this particular index in Casey.

It would appear from records, that there were two females named Nora
born to
Denis Moynihan and Margaret McGillicuddy.
Most likely, first one born in 1841 died.
They renamed second female born in 1857 the same name, Nora.

The baptism of  the first Nora Moynihan took place 9th March 1841

The above Daniel may have died. It appears that way, because in 1855
