Just checked the birth index and there was a John Alfred Waterworth bn in 1847 Leek Staffordshire.

Cant see Samuel Taylor at the moment but I have not given up on him


1901 the family have moved in to Heckmondwike, but I cant make out the address

In the 1871 census they are living in Lockwood, Near Huddersfield, West Yorks.
