you've not asked for this but in the 1911 census he is shown as being born in 1882 not 1886 and he is at home with his parents and his new wife jane Elizabeth.

The Maud Ellens of 1911 was a married young lady.


The William Ellens was a married man of 34 years to his wife Elizabeth and was bornin Finsbury.

going further back through to the earlier census Averil was the son of Thomas bn circa 1827 and Ann.

This Thomas was then the son of John Peach bn circa 1800 Huntingdonshire and Sarah Warrington bn circa 1806 Huntingdonshire.

Sadly then Hilda too passed away in March 1985 she married Cyril Albert Peach in 1949.


From looking at census and who married who Cyril's father was a Thomas Evan Peach bn 1890 Nottinghamshire and his parents were Averil Peach bn circa 1859 Brampton Huntingdonshire and Louisa Kinsey bn circa 1864 Shropshire

simply cos I cant see them in the free search of 1911 do we know anything else abt Maud, Cyril's elder sister?


I know I've tried looking for a marriage for Maud, but I cant see one for her - yet?

in the 1881 census the Retzeneffer's have been mistrancribed as PINTZENHEFFA and they are at 15 Chruch Street for that census also.
