United States of America / Overtons emigrated to Lake Erie area

My gt grandmother Ellen Emma Overton (b1873, Cambridge,UK) had relatives who emigrated to the Lake Erie area of Ohio/New York. She was in contact with them as late as the 1940s and 1950s. The Overton family originally came from Norfolk, but moved out to other areas including Birmingham, Darlington and Cambridge. Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, that's my gt gt gt grandfather. What I'm hoping for is a baptism record in Shoreditch. It's a mystery why one of my Wards was born in London when every other generation known was born either in Elmdon, Essex (pre-George) or in Gt Shelford/Whittlesford, Cambs (post-George).

George Ward , according to the 1851 census,was born in Shoreditch, Middlesex in about 1792. He's my 3xgt grandfather.  He has family earlier in Elmdon, Essex and later marries Mary Stern and lives in Gt Shelford, Cambs. His father, according to an old will in my possession, was called Edward Ward.
