My GGGGG Grandfather was Richard Kemp also a Calcutta Convict.He was a servant to the Reverand Richard Knopwood.

Hi a convict ticket of leave holder was not allowed to leave the colonies to go back to England.The only convicts that could were ones granted with an absolute pardon ,therefore unless your Charles Game received an absolute pardon then he would have had to stay in Australia.

Hi Keith if you click onto the link below it will take you to Tasmanian Names Index.In the search bar (next to where it says All Fields)at the top of the page write George Chatterley and then click onto the red magnifying glass next to it and it will give you two records to view of George.One is his convict records and the other his death record.No information of how he died  :(

Hi there are two James Day convicts,one transported on the convict ship Henry Porcher and another on the convict ship Sarah.

James Day   arrival date 15 Nov 1836 on the ship Henry Porcher.

James Day   arrival date   29 Mar 1837 on the ship Sarah

Would they be two different convicts. ???
