Cumberland / Salford Memorial
« on: Saturday 20 November 10 19:18 GMT (UK)  »
hi

I am looking for a Salford War Memorial, which I am led to believe is in the
EUSDEN TEA ROOMS
CARK
CUMBRIA
ENGLAND

If anyone has a photo, or can get hold of one, I would be extremely grateful.

I am a Co-Founder of a New group called SWARM, Salford War Memorials, and we are trying to locate any that are no longer in Salford

Thanks
Debbie

Hi all

Me and two others have set up this group on Facebook, with a website to follow shortly.

We aim to find through newspapers, word of mouth etc etc the War Memorials of Salford, we are hoping to record all men on these Memorials, and do some research on each man/woman.

We have a huge task ahead, but if you want to show us your support or if you want to help in anyway (photos, transcribing, research), or even taking on a particular are please get in touch through either the Group or by email.

Hi

Hope someone can help.

Photographing War Graves in Weaste Cemetery, Salford, I have come across this Grave, what me and a few others don't understand is how this guy ended up in Salford???

Any info would be great, so we try and put some sort of profile together for Local History and possibly find family of his.

Thanks
