Now that I know the following history of Bunratty area
(Thanks to George ) With a name like Ryan it's difficult to be sure that you've got the right family. Bunratty barony covered most of south east Clare-Sixmilebridge, Cratloe and Newmarket-on Fergus, parishes.There was also the small rural district (townland)of Bunratty.You also have the problem that these were close to the city of Limerick.City people were often employed as farm workers in nearby areas.In light of the above did anyone have Ryan's who migrated to Australia in 1856
