Thanks for that, I'm finding it a bit strange the his fathers first name was Jensen? Possible his wife didn't really know. I know that in Norway they used
the fathers first name with sen for son of and datter father for daughter of for the surname..

Looking for any info on Andrew Jensen, who was married to Mary Leadham unknown date of marriage, one child born to them known was May Frances Jensen born abt 1894.
I have discovered Andrew died in 1914 and is buried in the old Melbourne cemetery along with his wife. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks, but need the Catholic Sexton records for their Feakle Graveyard, which is not far from St Mary's Feakle...I will try and contact Heritage Centre in Corofin who may know, as the church no longer have original documents nor do they know where they went to. Trying to find a location of a Grandfather who we know was buried there in the 1930's but no headstone now..

Sorry I may of confused Sexton: "a person who looks after a church and churchyard, typically acting as bell-ringer and gravedigger" So I am acutely after the original records of this Feakle Graveyard, because there are many that are not recorded, that are there one of these is my Grandfather lol!

Can anyone advise me who holds these records? They don't seem to be held at the Church in Feakle.
One of our Grandfathers is buried there, we know this from Obit that states mass in Feakle and to Feakle Graveyard for burial... this was in 1936....

Thanks for all the info Maddys52 and yes website still not reliable!
I'm edging towards Michael O'Grady m Mary Birrane, because Micheal is most likely born in Ireland age at death is a bit distorted...
