Repair will re-install all the Windows core components.  It will not remove any non-Windows components, nor will it alter the registry. However, it will probably need to do updates because the versions from the install disk may not be the latest versions.

Repeatedly jab at the F8 key whilst Windows is booting.  One of the options should be "Repair this computer".

Another way of doing it would be to boot up on the Windows 7 install CD, and one of the options should be "Repair this computer".

I suppose it depends on where you get it from.   It's always advisable to download programs from the people who write it.  Even 'trusted' sites can be dodgy these days.  I'm not sure why you would need a driver manager - Windows seems to do a good job managing its own ?

If you don't have any other Symantec services installed (like Norton Anti Virus), then the best way of removing it would be to download the removal tool from Symantec.

Also remember that inkjet ink can dry out (especially in the winter when the heating is on), so smaller quantities may work out cheaper than bigger ones which would stay in longer, but could dry out  :)

There are companies offering 'IP cloaking' but of course they will want some money for doing it.  Typically about £50 a year.  But you can change your IP country as often as you like.

Many of us have already taken DNA tests - including myself.  I did both Y-DNA and autosomal testing about a year ago, to try to establish the birthplace area of my g.g. grandfather, but so far I have had no significant matches.  DNA is like fingerprinting - the more samples you have in the database, the more chance there is of a match, and unfortunately in the UK the number of people who have paid to have DNA tests is woefully small.

Another useful addition to the Samsung Galaxy 7" Tab is a leather case with a built-in keyboard.  The keyboard connects to the tab via Bluetooth, so no wires are required.  The keyboard also has its own rechargeable battery, and will also power the tab for a while if the tab's battery is low, but you would need to buy a USB adaptor cable for the Samsung to use this particular feature.

The case is available on Ebay for 19.95 - the sellers name is cableandsat
