Surrey Lookup Requests / Matthew Bryant b.1873

In my grandfather's army records (Boer war) his next of kin are his siblings (both parents having died in the 1880's) and one of them named Matthew is stated as being an elder brother....he never appeared in the 1881 census with the rest of the family but a Matthew Bryant does appear in the 1901 and 1911 census and this is he.....
Does anyone have the resources to tell me who this individual's father is by the marriage listed below or by his christianing if indeed he was christianed?

Matthew (my great grandfather) dies aged 46 according to the GRO within the registration district of Camberwell…, June qtr of 1888, vol 1D, page 436 I haven't got the death cert so I'm unaware of what he died of.

Eliza Bryant (mother) dies at the age of 39 at home at 6 Green Hundred Road, Peckham. The death cert states her age as being 39 and her husband as being Matthew Bryant a labourer at the gas works, he was in attendance at the time of death. The cause of death was ? pulmonalis.
