Samuel Hurren – Worlingworth, Suffolk (later of London)
I am trying to piece together some of my family history, the details below are what I know about the family.
Samuel Hurren was born in 1865, he either lived or worked in the Worlingworth area and I understand worked with horses as a saddler or harness maker he later went to London and worked as a groom (there is story of him in London taking a whip to the coalman for mistreating a horse!)
He married Edith? Form Godstone in Surrey.
Samuel died on 9th May 1941; Edith died 12 February 1940 aged 69.
They had the following Children in London:
Jessie Dora – died 22nd February 1940 aged 27
Violet
Grace
Alice
Alfred
Albert Samuel – married Nancy Hall on 2nd June 1941 (these are my grandparents).
There was also another brother.
