Technical Help / LibreOffcie Writer help please

Hi There

I have in the last few weeks started using LibreOffcie Writer and have a small issue which I need help with. Could anyone please advise me what the blue symbols are in my document, as they appear in all my documents now and how I may delete them. I am guessing I may have clicked on something accidentally but I have no idea how to resolve this issue.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Transcribing help please

Hi There

I am hoping you might be able to help decipher a Maori name for. NZ BMD image. The image including the date - the word starts as Whare. In the second image the name is listed as Wharenanakia on the NZBMD website. but the WH does not look the same as the image with the date. It is possible the name starts with WH but I have no other documentation for this person and am about to ask NZ BMD for a search. I have found Wharenanakia is a Maori name online and I am hoping someone may confirm or see another spelling.

Australia / NSW research

Hi there

I have a small amount of Australian research knowledge. I have found a NSW bmd record for Jane Scott Bett who died 1983, listed as Jeane Scot Bett. The 1980 Australian electoral roll has Jane residing at Masonic Towers, Lowe Road, Hornsby. I have looked online for historical probates and found nothing under her name and also cemeteries in Hornsby but they don't appear searchable. I know I can purchase her death certificate but would like to find more details first, if possible. What can you suggest?

I am researching on behalf and am wondering if anyone has access to London Newspapers or be subscribed to deceased online please and look up a death/cremation for Donald Templeman who died 4 Oct 1974, cremated Oct 10th. Probate lists his address as 233 Bellenden Road LondoN. (Lambeth Greater, London)

I was wondering if if someone maybe able to help me with a death notice please. The person I am seeking information about is Frederick James Whyman, believed to have died in Sydney 2004. Frederick was born in 1936 New Zealand, his wife Lean Frances Munro passed away in 1996, Auckland, New Zealand

World War Two / German Autopsy reports WWII

Is it possible to find German autopsy reports online (or accessed somehow) relating to the remains of servicemen washed ashore at Castricum beach north of Ijmuiden, Netherlands June 1943. The SD and Abwehr examined all corpses for details.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Nz Probate

Hi there

I'm am having difficulty understand ing whether or not I can access this probate https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewEntity.do?code=21954 When I click on access it says open
I am not sure if a will was lodged? but I am researching Chalres Ernest Oliver. He died 1951. I believe his wife died prior to his death. There child died in 1909. Thier maybe another child.
