US Lookup Requests / Mt Moriah Cemetery Philadelphia County

Hi there

I have searched many sites and not found any details regarding burials for my Montgomery's in Mt Moriah. I have a headstone photo with a Montgomery who died 1923, included is another Montgomery and the name Getty who died 1941, the rest of the headstone is covered by bush. I see that Mr Moriah is not online. How would I find out the details for these people?

New Zealand Completed Requests / Foster Children 1930s "Completed"

Hi there

Just a little advise please.

If children in NZ, in Taranki in particular became orphans, what institution would they have been housed under. The story is a mother had 5 children and was with a partner at the time of her death, however they were not married and the children didn't stay with him. They did not go to live with other family members. Where would my first step of inquiry be please, regarding where they were placed and what organisation would they be under. Would churches have had any input into the placement of children in the 1930s?

Hi there

I have some older photos that are 67 x 96 ACDsee Jpeg Images, 3.46kb. I would like to enlarge these and need some advise on what programm I coud use to do so, I have tried with my HP premier Photosmart but the photos go out of focus, does any program have an automatic focus? and is user friendly.

they lived in the Greytown area, parents are Lars Jacobsen and Mary Hansen.

Australia Lookups completed / Tasmania-Lilydale Cemetery in Launceston

Hi There

If anyone lives near the Lilydale Cemetery and have time could you please take some photo's of a couple of headstones for me please.

Mathew Phillips died April 30th 1899 and his wife Jane died December 28 1881. They are both buried in Lilydale in Plot? B12, NO:1 and 2. Your help would be appreciated.

Unwanted Certificates & Artefacts / BUNGATE- Inscription in book

Hi there

At a Second Hand Shop today I came across a book " The Prize " Inscribed inside the cover is James Bungate. Sunday School Prize. April 22nd 1880. This book looks to be about Bible Story's. I wasn't able to have a good look through it as it is in need of repair. Unfortunately, it had been up for Auction and I was too late to put an offer on the book and it has been promised to the Museum but I was allowed to take a photo of the cover and inscription.

If anyone is related and would like the photo's, please let me know.
