Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Marriage Date & Occupation

I'm a bit confused by the date of marriage on this certificate'
I think it could be April 11th or 12th written in roman numerals.

Also I cannot make out the occupation of the groom James Greenwood.
Any help very much appreciated.

I viewed the image on FindMyPast where there is nothing at the top of the page.
So that explains it.  :)

Thank you all for your replies.
I did view the original image but there was nothing printed there and yes his initials were transcribed as S S. Now I know where it was I'll try and find any patient records there might be.
Once again many thanks.

Northumberland / 1891 Census

I have found a possible death for Stephen SAMPLE in the 1891 census/RG124255/folio94/page15.
The page is an institution in Morpeth, it says he is a patient
Does anyone know what kind of institution it could be?
TIA.

My ancestor was in the 'HH Res RAMC'
Can anyone tell me what that regiment of the Royal Army Medical Corps was?
Have tried googling it, but nothing satisfactory came up.

Yes, I thought it might be Pittsmoor. Glad to have it confirmed. Many thanks to all who have offered suggestions.

Thanks for the offer, I already have him on the census for 1841, 1851 and 1861. He emigrated to America sometime before 1871.
It was the name of the church I was hoping to find. I can just about make out the marriage took place in the county of York but very little else along the top line. :)
