Donegal / LOWRY in Ballyshannon, Kilbarron parish

Several of us are researching various Lowry families who appear in the records of St Anne's parish, Ballyshannon(Protestant).
Some settled in Quebec, Canada and some in Ontario, Canada. No doubt they are connected, but we haven't been able to establish a connection as yet.
My particular ancestor was
Thomas Lowry who married Ruth McKay about 1811. 2 of their sons Joseph b 1814 and Johnb 1816 ) were baptized at St Anne's.
THey emigrated about 1830 to Canada.

Is anyone researching these families?

 ???
I would like to contact anyone researching the Shorten family in County Cork.
I have (tentatively) Stephen Shorten and Elizabeth Sealy, married early 1800's with a large family those born after 1810, in Bandon..
Son William emigrated to Kansas, US.
Son Richard and daughter Anne settled in Quebec province, Canada.

Any help appreciated.
Pat, on the Sunshine Coast of BC Canada.
