« on: Friday 15 June 07 18:12 BST (UK) »
Parents:
William Woodcock (M, 1844-?) (Born Boston, Lincolnshire)
Emma Kezia Derrick (F, 1856-) (Born Birmingham)
Children:
Harriet I (F, 1873-1955)
George Frederick J (M, 1877-?)
Emily (F, 1879-?)
Mary/May Ann (F, 1883-?)
Francis Melville (M, 1883-?)
Edith Elsie (F, 1886-?)
Harold Beauchamp (M, 1889-?)
Leonard Victor (M, 1892-?)
Celestine Cyril (M, 1895) *My grandfather*
All children were born in Birmingham.
Their occupations (that I have listed) are plain jobs like portmanteau maker (Harriet), bicycle tyre maker (Mary/May & Emily) and errand boy (George)
Celestine lied about his age to sign up for WW1 and faught in Flanders. While away fighting he discovered his mother had died and his family had scattered, he only ever found his eldest sister, Harriet. I think he won a medal for his fighting but this is unconfirmed. The only entries I have for them all is living in Birmingham in 1901.
