Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Corporal Albert (Bert) Goldsack - service no 9183 - Regiment - 'The Buffs' (East Kent Regiment) - Division: 2nd Battalion.
The private memorial marking the grave of Corporal Albert Goldsack no longer provides adequate commemoration. The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

He was the second husband of Gladys Goldsack, whose first husband, Company Quartermaster Serjeant Henry Latham FAIRCLOTH is also commemorated on this marker; he died on 22 Dec 1915 and was laid to rest in the Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner, in Cuinchy, France.
