London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / What happened to Benjamin Paull b 1876
« on: Thursday 11 April 13 16:48 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone find Benjamin William Paull after the 1891 census.

He was born in the Dec 1/4 of 1876 to Thomas ( b 1842) and Esther also b abt 1842.
He was their 4th son.

In 1891 he is age 15 and at 56 Cornbury Street St George the Martyr Southwark with his parents and older brother George b 1870 ish,who also disappears.

Dad dies on 5th Oct 1899 and mum on 18th Feb 1901.

The name Benjamin is fairly unusual so he should be easy to spot, but he isn't  ::)

Many thanks

This is from the 1841 census- all the children were born in Middelsex (Chelsea).
But what does it say for their dad Benjamin,is that a N or a Y?

Grandma Ann Silk was not born in the county of Middx.

Thanks

« on: Friday 21 September 12 07:40 BST (UK)  »
Are there likely to be any records available of a death that occured in Victoria on 1st Jan 1988? The ladies name was Mary Prentice Barclay (nee Reid) ,the last address I found her at was in Holt, Berwick in 1980.

Which cemetery is the nearest?

I have checked for a will but not found one,she was only 56 when she died.

Many thanks

« on: Friday 13 January 12 17:20 GMT (UK)  »
My friend's uncle was Lyndon John LEEK Service No 3915830 he was a corporal in the 3rd Btn Monmouthshire Regiment

He was killed on 03/04/1945 and the CWGC site says he's buried in REICHSWALD FOREST WAR CEMETERY in Germany.

Can anyone tell me(or where I can find) any more about the circumstances of his death.

He was aged just 22. The family thought he was buried in France.

Many thanks
