Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Re: Hull Burial in 1850

I suspected Holy Trinity and trawled the period after his date of death (from Death cert) - with no success.  I'll check out Family search now.
Laterally thinking - Its also unlikely that his family would have taken him back to his 'home parish'; as his father was already dead, and grandfather was a Pauper when he was buried.

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Hull Burial in 1850
« on: Saturday 17 April 21 11:36 BST (UK)  »
Thomas Goodman {Goodwill} Horsman  died at the Workhouse, Whitefriar Gate, Hull on 1 Sept 1850.
I have looked at Yorkshire burial records on FindMyPast, but can't find him,  so I suspect he will be buried in a cemetery.  Can anyone suggest which one it may be.

Thanks

Yorkshire (North Riding) / Kirby Wiske - Monumental Inscriptions
« on: Sunday 11 April 21 11:43 BST (UK)  »
Has anyone access to the MI's for Kirby Wiske ?
FindMyPast indicates that there is a stone for Timothy Horsman  (d. 1793).  I wondered what his inscription says.

Thanks

This type of register is very useful if you are doing a One Name Study;  although I also found that Berwick HT registers were Barrington,  and they were very useful in fitting together one of my paternal grandmothers family.

Thanks Boo.  I was wondering if there was a specific list (as there is for Dade);  as with the latter not all parishes followed instructions.

Does anyone know of an online list of parishes which have Barrington Registers?
A posting from a while ago says that a pdf file is available on NBL archives web site - but I cant find it.
