Yes I gave them the date and cemetery name.   >:(
I could try the Crem -  at least they may be able to point me in the right direction.

By the way I am more than happy to reciprocate if anyone needs a look up in Hampshire Record office, Portsmouth, or West Sussex Record office.

I have tried the Record Office, but they wanted to charge £15, which I can't justify for a date.  I hadn't thought of the Cemetery Office.  Would that be in Bangor?

Thank you…..Joseph Thompson of Victoria Terrace, Bradford died aged 31 on 6 July 1842.  His wife Elizabeth remarried after his death, so would have been buried as Elizabeth Dunn.  She died 4 Jan 1874 aged 64.  She was living at Jonas Gate, Horton, Bradford.

Thanks.  You're right.  I'll look at a map and see if I can identify the nearest/most likely church.  He lived at Victoria Terrace, Bradford.  His wife died 1874 and lived at Jonas Gate, Horton, Bradford.

If someone died in Bradford in the 1800s (1842 and 1874) where might they be buried please?

Is anyone going to Caernarvon Record Office who could do a quick look up for me please?  My 3x great grandmother MARIA LAWLESS died on 18 Mar 1897 at the Red Lion Inn, Bangor and I KNOW she is buried in Bangor Cemetery (I have visited the grave there).  All I need please is the burial date.  I would be very grateful if someone could check it for me as I live in the South of England and can't get there.  Thanks.

Wicklow / Re: Troy/Lawless Marriage Look up in Bray please.

Hi bettyrubble and celtic liberty,  Sorry, have only just seen these.  We have a Mary Jane born 1845 bettyrubble, but haven't come across a Mary Jane.  There are lots of Lawless's in Wicklow so I expect they are related somehow.
I will follow the Coastguard thing up with NA, thank you celtic liberty.
