Thanks Sue it is a possibility as John had a daughter Elizabeth who would have been 17 at the time of the marrige.So it is possible that she was one of the two witnesses.Many thanks again for your help.

Thanks heaps that is the family on one of his daughters christenings his occ is given as Mason. I have Williams baptism.You have also found some children I wasn't aware of. Also one of his son in laws family are from Box. So am pretty sure this is the right family.

Would some kind person look for John Burman/Burnham for me, John born c 1778. He lived in Chipping Norton Have his first marriage to Kezia Autumn do not have a christening for John or Kezia although Kezia died 1818 age 40. John married again to Hannah but have not found the marrige yet hoping if John and Hannah are alive in 1841 I may get some clues. Many thanks Jac

i think the one in Praed streed is the Samaritan Womens hospital with the Western Opthalmic hospital next door.At least it was in the 40's when I had my eye op and in the 50s/60s when my Mum had an op at the womens. Think they are attached to St Marys but could be wrong. Was also a patient at Paddington Green Childrens hospital in the 50s

Hi Jeannette I have received the photos.Thank you so much they bring back lots of memories .My Stepdad and I used to ride our bikes out to Cherry Lane and put flowers on the grave, we lived in Southall.Can't quite believe how familiar it all looked after all this time.Again thank you so much. Jac

If anyone is going to this cemetary I wonder if they would be kind enough to take a photo of my fathers gravestone .I have the plot no and know there was a headstone as I visited it as a child.It would be nice to have a photo as I now live in Oz and London Airport may take over the cemetary.
