London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Charles Wilson - Isleworth 1851
« on: Wednesday 15 June 05 00:05 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone have an index for the 1851 census for Isleworth?  I need to locate Charles Wilson and his family so that I can find out where he was born.  THe family consists of Charles and his wife Elizabeth (born Cuxton, Kent) and children John, Eliza Ann, Charles and George.  Any help would be appreciated.

Dublin / Esau Clarke -1783
« on: Thursday 02 June 05 20:55 BST (UK)  »
Hi, I have found Esau Clarke listed on the Dublin Directory 1783 as a French Horn maker at 23 Henry Street.  Does anyone have any information about his family and descendants.  I am hoping that he "belongs" to my William Armstrong Clarke who was born circa 1806 in Ireland but went to England, married and is first listed on the 1841 census as a trumpet maker.  If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

Herts Completed Lookup Requests / Isaac SIBLEY

Hi, I am trying to track down the baptism and parents of Isaac Sibley.  He was born circa 1787 in Kimpton - so he says in the 1841 and 1851 censuses for South Mimms where he moved to after his marriage to Sarah Longstaff in North Mimms in 1810 and the birth of 3 of his 4 known children (the fourth was born in South Mimms).  There are a large number of Sibleys in this area but no sign of Isaac so any information would be extremely helpful.
Thanks

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Great Clacton, Essex Baptisms
« on: Sunday 03 October 04 14:23 BST (UK)  »
Looking for the baptism of Simon Jacobs circa 1812.  He married and died in South Mimms, Middx in 1832 and 1847 respectively.  On the 1851 census his son William John Jacobs was listed with his uncle John Jacobs' family in Southgate Road, Potters Bar, South Mimms.  John must therefore have been Simon's brother.  John's age in 1851 was 25 and he said he was born in Great Clacton.  This would make him born circa 1826 some 14 years after Simon.  Does anyone have any information about this family?

Would it be possible to have a look up in Potters Bar in 1841 and 1851 for any Jacobs and Sibley families.  Potters Bar in these times was just a small village.
Thanks
